Sue earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from American International College in 1994.   Upon graduation, she worked as a geriatric nurse in a convalescent home.

Sue later worked for nearly ten years as a Clinical Nurse in an in-patient mental health unit at Yale-New Haven Hospital where her duties included assessing the physical and psychological status of patients, providing nursing interventions based on the patient’s care plan, and working with the multi-disciplinary health care team.

Sue remains licensed as a Registered Nurse with the State of Connecticut.
